Made in Britain, and bespoke to you, this style combines traditional design with modern construction. Choose a glass roof for maximum light or opt for a solid roof with stunning glass panels.
An Elizabethan conservatory is a square or rectangular conservatory with a three-sided roof. The roof is usually hipped with a central ridge, often with ornate finials. The term Elizabethan comes from the finials that evoke Elizabethan architecture. Because they are so similar to Edwardian conservatories, which have a four-sided roof, the term Elizabethan is also used to distinguish them.
Design a new space completely bespoke to your home. Customise windows and doors from their style, right down to the colours and handles. Add finishing touches like decorative glass or finials.
Added Space
New conservatories give you valuable living space for things like dining, entertaining or a new home office. Choose a solid conservatory roof with double glazed panels to add insulation for better year-round comfort.
Strong Security Features
Our conservatories include strong security features on the windows and doors. Our conservatory door ranges come with 3-star rated cylinder locks and multipoint locking. Some of our windows and doors also carry the Secured By Design Police accreditation.
Trusted Accreditations
Our white uPVC conservatories carry a raft of independent industry accreditations. We are the only company that holds a BBA certification for our entire conservatory construction. Our doors and windows also hold numerous certificates from the BBA and BSI.
This style has a three-sided roof and is either square or rectangular. This makes them practical and adaptable to a range of uses. Create a space to relax in, entertain in or even to work in.
Hipped Roof
This conservatory style has a hipped roof, giving you three sloping sides with a ridge down the middle. Customise the ridge with finials for a traditional look or keep it sharp with a plain finish. Hipped roofs are a good fit for homes with a lower elevation.
Modern or Traditional Looks
Customise your conservatory to suit your home and style. If you want a more modern look, opt for anthracite grey bifold doors and a grey solid roof. For period homes, choose classic white or woodgrain with decorative glass.
Choose a solid roof for your new conservatory to make it more usable through the year. A solid roof provides the best insulation for a conservatory roof, making it the best option for year-round comfort. Add glazed panels to create a lighter, brighter space.
Glass Roof
Opt for a glass roof with our unique SolaroofⓇ technology, with high UV protection and better insulation than traditional glass. SolaroofⓇ reduces solar glare and reflects 75% of the sun’s heat, stopping your conservatory from getting too hot.
Polycarbonate Roof
Polycarbonate roofs are practical and versatile, offering lots of natural light for your room. They are often a more affordable option to Solid and glass roofs. Customise your roof with our different colours and UV protection options.

Your questions on Elizabethan conservatories answered by us.
How much does an Elizabethan conservatory cost?
The cost of an Elizabethan conservatory depends on factors like size, roof options, door options and things like colour. We create your conservatory to be entirely bespoke to your home, so your quote is unique to your project. Get in touch today to book a design appointment and get a price for your conservatory.
How long does an Elizabethan conservatory last?
How long any conservatory lasts depends on what it’s made from and where it is. For example, conservatories made from timber can have shorter lifespans if not cared for properly. Or if your home is subject to more extreme weather, a conservatory there would likely last less time than other parts of the country. Our uPVC conservatories are guaranteed for 10 years and also carry an accreditation from the British Board of Agrement for the whole conservatory structure to function satisfactorily for 25 years.
Do you need foundations for a conservatory?
The short answer is that yes, a conservatory needs foundations. Without foundations, a conservatory could move away from your home or sink into the ground. Conservatory foundations are also required by some building regulations. For example, if your conservatory has open access to your home or you plan to put central heating in there that links to your home, then it needs foundations. Most companies will lay foundations, or a base, as a matter of course.
Is it cheaper to have a conservatory or an extension?
It is almost always cheaper to opt for a conservatory over an extension. Extensions require much more material and time to build than a conservatory. Extensions are a much more substantial addition and therefore need more work than a traditional conservatory.
