Day and Night blinds are blinds that have two layers of material. They combine opaque and translucent fabric to give you control over privacy and light levels. Translucent fabric diffuses light while retaining privacy during the day, making it perfect for bathrooms or rooms that are overlooked. The opaque fabric blocks light so that you can have more shade and total privacy at night.
Available as either double roller blinds or Vision blinds, control them with cords or with a motorisation option. Double roller blinds have one roll of translucent material and one roll of opaque fabric that you control together or independently. Vision blinds have one roll that that combines the two materials in strips that interact as the blind moves up and down to give you differing levels of light and privacy control.
Day and night blinds are versatile and customisable in a variety of colours and fabrics to suit any room or style. They are ideal solutions for rooms that see a lot of use throughout the day and evening.

Double Roller Blinds
The standard design for day and night blinds, two contrasting fabrics slide neatly up and down to control light levels, providing privacy or providing full shade from daylight. When used together they provide fantastic levels of both privacy and shade. Combine them with ‘blackout’ fabric for even better light control in bedrooms.
Vision Blinds
Vision blinds are a single blind that combines opaque and translucent strips of fabric. The fabric loops around a bar at the bottom, creating a double layer with the back and front moving in different directions as you lower the blind. This causes the translucent strips and opaque strips to interact, giving you different levels of light and privacy control.
Perfect Fit Day and Night Blinds
Perfect fit day and night blinds are only available as Vision blinds. They create a seamless look within uPVC window or door frames. This makes them a great choice for conservatories and sun rooms.

Common Questions about Day and Night Blinds
The amount of privacy you get with a day and night blind depends on which style you choose and how you align the fabric panels. It is advisable to use both panels together at night for maximum privacy at night.
When you close both blinds together, they are very good at blocking out the light. Much better in some cases than traditional roller blinds.
As with any blind, when they’re down, day and night blinds add some thermal insulation against heat loss through windows. They’ll also help to keep rooms cooler by blocking out sunshine on hot days. Add treated fabrics to your day and night double roller blinds to improve thermal insulation.
As with any blinds, day and night blinds can get dusty without regular cleaning. Carefully vacuum or dust them every so often to keep them free from everyday dust and dirt.
