The cost of replacing a front door can vary. It depends on where you buy the door, the material, size, design, colour or finish, and furniture you choose. For instance, a basic white front door made from uPVC is usually the least expensive. Our door prices include a virtual or home visit, technical survey, installation and aftersales support. There are no hidden costs.
We do not recommend that you install your own front door. A door that is not installed properly can make your home less energy-efficient, not weather-tight, and even weaken its structure. Instead, choose a company like us to supply and install the door for you. Our surveyor comes to your home to measure and give you a free quote, with no obligation. Your new door is custom-made and installed by our skilled team, and we also offer a full aftercare package.
The cost of a new back door depends on the size, material, furniture and finish of the door you choose. It also depends on the supplier you choose and whether you decide to go through a supply only route or a supply and install company like Anglian. Supply-only prices often only include the cost of the door leaf only. Our back door prices include a technical survey, installation, and aftersales support. There are no hidden costs.
The safest back door is one with a multi-point locking system and some form of reinforcement to the frame. A multi-point locking system is more secure than a single-point lock and a reinforced steel door is more difficult to break through. A safe back door should also be installed correctly in order to make sure the door fits tightly in the frame, and all of the locking mechanisms are in good working order.
