Fixed into the window or door recess, when in the open position pleated blinds fold up and sit neatly above the window. Close them by pulling a cord, which expands the blinds. Because they are made with two fabrics, when they’re closed they create hexagonal pockets which help trap warm air to keep you warmer in winter and cooler in summer.

Yes, our thermally insulated pleated blinds help to reduce warmth lost through the window. This makes them a great choice for a conservatory or any room that tends to get colder in the winter.
As with any blinds, pleated blinds can get dusty over time. To keep your pleated blinds looking their best, give them a regular clean with a feather duster or microfibre cloth.
Dust your pleated blinds regularly to keep them looking their best. If you need to remove a stain, use plain water with a clean cloth and lightly dab the stain until it disappears. Avoid using strong chemicals or stain removers on your pleated blinds as it could cause discolouration. Never put water directly onto the fabric and never rub the fabric.
Depending on the type you choose, pleated blinds can let in daylight. If you want a good amount of diffused light to come through the blind, go for a lighter colour and fabric. If you’d like to block the light completely, choose a blackout pleated blind. Our pleated blinds also offer UV protection, allowing in soft light while still protecting furniture and fabrics. “Blackout” fabrics help keep the light out, but not completely. The better the fit of your pleated blind, the less light will get around the edges of the blind.
Depending on the choice of fabric and the position in the room, pleated blinds can be suitable for kitchens. If the window is next to a sink or cooker, a pleated blind may be at risk of getting splashed by water or food which could cause staining.
Pleated blinds can be a great choice for bedrooms, providing a neat and stylish look as well as being practical. - Law and jurisdiction. These Terms and any Specific Terms shall be governed by English law and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes or claims (including, without limitation, non-contractual disputes or claims) arising out of or in connection with them.
