A new range of aluminium windows and doors has been launched by Anglian Home Improvements, offering a sleek, modern and long-lasting finish.
The new aluminium collection comprises a wide range of styles including casement windows, bi-fold doors and sliding patio doors. Available in any RAL colour, a polyester powder coated finish gives the windows and doors a durable finish with a ‘just painted’ look.
Homeowners are able to personalise their choices according to their style and preferences with dual colour and split colour finishes available. With dual colours, the inside of the window can be one colour and the outside another, whereas with split colours, you can select one colour for the frame and one for the casement – or you can even combine the two, giving the widest possible range of colour choices.
Aluminium doors and windows are becoming increasingly popular due to their sophisticated, slimline look – often featured on home improvement shows such as Grand Designs – along with the convenience of a product that is low maintenance and does not rot, rust or warp.
Although perfect in a contemporary home, Anglian’s aluminium range is also an ideal replacement for steel windows in a period property. Designed to replicate the slim sight lines of traditional steel, they come as close as you can to a steel window, whilst offering much improved security and thermal performance.
Melanie McDonald, Head of Marketing and Communications at Anglian Home Improvements, says, “Homeowners are opting for aluminium to create slim, stylish windows and doors to enhance the appearance of their home. We have taken great care to create a window with a sleek and modern look that offers good thermal and sound insulation properties and has long-term durability. We also find the wide range of colour and style options is welcomed by homeowners, who like the opportunity to pick what best suits the style of their home or reflects their personal design taste.”
Anglian’s aluminium windows are now available and come with B-rated energy efficient glass as standard, while the aluminium doors benefit from a multi-point locking system for added security.
